By creating an account or using Life-Together ("the App," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
These terms apply to all users of the App, including group creators, administrators, moderators, members, and parents or guardians with the Babysitter role.
Life-Together is intended for adults aged 18 and older. All user accounts require Firebase authentication and must belong to an adult. The App does not create accounts for minors, and minors cannot independently register, log in, or interact with the App.
Parents or guardians may join groups through babysitter invitation links and create babysitter profiles for minors within their account. These profiles are managed entirely through the parent or guardian's account and do not create independent accounts or login credentials for minors. See Section 6 and our Privacy Policy for details.
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

You are the sole account holder and the contact of record for your account. If you create babysitter profiles for minors, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for managing those profiles in accordance with these terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Life-Together allows you to post, share, and interact with content including chat messages, prayer requests, events, polls, resources, and comments. By posting content, you:
Babysitter profiles do not independently generate content. Event sign-ups and associations created by a parent or guardian on behalf of a babysitter profile are considered content managed by the parent or guardian's account.
We do not claim ownership of your content. If you delete your account, you may choose how your content is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Life-Together is designed to foster supportive, faith-based community interactions. When using the App, you agree not to:
Group administrators and moderators may establish additional guidelines for their groups. Violations may result in content removal, group removal, or account termination.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, remove, or restrict access to content or accounts that violate these Terms or may harm the community.
Life-Together uses a role-based system within groups:
Babysitter profiles are informational records managed by the parent or guardian and are not independent user accounts. Life-Together does not independently verify the identity or qualifications of babysitters represented by these profiles.
If you hold the Babysitter role in a group, you may create babysitter profiles for minors within your account. By creating a babysitter profile, you represent and warrant that:
Babysitter profiles are managed entirely through your account. They do not have independent login credentials, do not receive notifications, and do not independently access any features of the App. You may update or delete babysitter profiles at any time. All babysitter profiles associated with your account are automatically deleted if you leave the group or delete your account.
Parents or guardians with the Babysitter role may choose whether to share their contact information with other group members. By default, your contact information is visible only to group administrators. You may enable or disable contact sharing at any time from your profile settings.
Group creators and administrators are responsible for managing their groups in accordance with these terms. We are not responsible for the actions of group administrators or the content posted within groups.
Members may leave a group at any time and choose how their content within that group is handled. Content handling options when leaving a group are described in our Privacy Policy.
Group creators and administrators act independently and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Life-Together.
The App may send push notifications for events, messages, prayer requests, and other group activity. You can manage your notification preferences at any time from your profile settings. You may also disable notifications through your device settings.
Babysitter profiles do not receive push notifications. Notifications related to babysitting events are delivered only to the parent or guardian's account.
The Life-Together name, logo, design, and underlying software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.
You may use the App solely for its intended purpose of community engagement and participation.
Life-Together is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content posted by users, including information provided in babysitter profiles.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life-Together and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from user-generated content or babysitting arrangements coordinated through the App.
The App facilitates event coordination, including babysitting event sign-ups, but does not vet, endorse, or guarantee the suitability of any individual for childcare. Life-Together does not supervise, manage, or participate in babysitting arrangements coordinated through the App. Parents, guardians, and group members are solely responsible for evaluating the appropriateness of any babysitting arrangements.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's profile settings. Upon deletion, you can choose how your content is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. All babysitter profiles you manage are permanently deleted when your account is deleted.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in harmful behavior, or if required by law.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
